About Me

I am a consultant radiologist with more than 30 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, with particular expertise and interest in cardiovascular imaging and neuroradiology. Throughout my career, I have worked across the United Kingdom, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Belgium, and international teleradiology networks, serving in senior consultant and Head of Radiology roles in both public and private healthcare institutions.

My clinical practice covers a broad range of diagnostic imaging, including CT, MRI, conventional radiography, ultrasound, and Doppler imaging. I have advanced training in cardiovascular CT and neuroradiology and regularly contribute to multidisciplinary discussions and complex diagnostic cases. Alongside my clinical work, I am actively involved in medical education, mentoring, examining, continuing professional development, and international radiology teaching initiatives.

I currently contribute to radiology education as a mentor, teacher, and examiner with Radiology Across Borders and Kamuzu University of Health Sciences in Malawi. I also work in teleradiology and have provided specialist neuroradiology consultations through Diagnose.me since 2016.

I have served as an examiner for FRCR preparation courses in the UK and have contributed to the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography as a member of its Verification Committee and Continuing Medical Education Committee. I have also participated in research and scientific publishing, contributed to peer-reviewed medical literature, and serve as a reviewer for Cureus Journal of Medical Science.

My Areas of Expertise

My main areas of expertise include neuroradiology, cardiovascular and cardiothoracic imaging, CT, MRI, conventional radiography, ultrasound, and vascular Doppler imaging. I have extensive experience interpreting complex imaging examinations, integrating clinical information with imaging findings, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, and providing consultative guidance to referring physicians.

My Philosophy of Care

I believe that high-quality radiology requires more than identifying imaging abnormalities. My approach is to integrate the imaging findings with the patient's clinical history and provide clear, accurate, and clinically meaningful reports that help referring physicians make informed decisions.

I am committed to maintaining high diagnostic standards, keeping up to date with advances in imaging technology and medical evidence, and seeking multidisciplinary or subspecialist input whenever it can improve patient care. Education, quality assurance, and continuous professional development have remained central parts of my practice throughout my career.
